I was definitely WRONG about the Boeremag and Janusz Walus. They were for real.

Kano – Fifteen persons have been arrested in connection with last Saturday night’s attack on late Muhammad Abuabar Rimi, Inspector General of Police Obannaya Onovo has said.
Onovo disclosed the arrest of the alleged bandits yesterday when he paid a condolence visit to the residence of the former governor, saying the police solicited the assistance of local vigilante and traditional rulers to apprehend the suspects.
The said arrest is coming days after Acting President Jonathan Goodluck ordered the police to fish out the robbers that attacked the former governor alongside his co-travellers on Wudil road and dispossessed them of handsets and money.
“It is very unfortunate that the incident occurred on that road, because that particular road has been under constant police surveillance and patrol for a very long time,” he said. Onovo vowed to improve security situation in the country and prevent recurrence of such incidents by improving partnership between the police and local communities with a view to identifying and arresting miscreants and hoodlums before they commit crimes.
Earlier at the State House, the Inspector General of Police said it was unfortunate that despite the fact that late Rimi struggled and fought for the masses all through his life, he lost his life to armed robbery attack.
