Mandela: I cannot rest while Aids ravages SA

There is a lot of information in this archive. Use the SEARCH BAR at the top right. Prior to December 2012; I was a pro-Christian type of Conservative. I was unaware of the mass of Jewish lies in history, especially the lies regarding WW2 and Hitler. So in here you will find pro-Jewish and pro-Israel material. I was definitely WRONG about the Boeremag and Janusz Walus. They were for real.

[These days Mandela talks openly about the damage AIDS is doing. AIDS is SLAUGHTERING blacks across Africa in a way that has never been seen in recorded history. Words can hardly describe what AIDS is doing in Africa.

Of course, Mandela is nothing, if he does not remind us that he was a prisoner. His only claim to fame is being a terrorist who spent 27 years in jail. Beyond that… he is nothing but a propaganda creation… no intellect… nothing…

And what would he be without Apartheid? They need Apartheid… and love it… because it is the only thing that gives them meaning in life. If it were not for Apartheid what would they do? Who would they be? Nothing! Why? Because they’re a talentless bunch of losers…

So… Now they have launched a concert… where international rock stars will participate (again)… in raising money… and they even have a website for it: www.46664.com. Why? Because that’s Mandela’s prison number… when he was on Robben Island (or so they claim). Jan]

The Aids pandemic carries the face of a woman, former president Nelson Mandela told thousands of people gathered at Fancourt, George, on Saturday night for his second Aids benefit concert.

The purpose of the 46664 concert – the prison number Mandela wore during his 27-year incarceration – was to give a voice to the women of Africa in the fight against Aids, he said.

Mandela said he could not rest in retirement while Africa was ravaged by the Aids scourge, reported SABC radio news.

“For every woman and girl violently attacked, we reduce our humanity. For every moment we remain silent, we conspire against our women. For every woman infected by HIV, we destroy a generation,” he said.

The concert opened on Saturday night with a warning from singer Annie Lennox that millions were probably carrying the disease without knowing it.

“We’re at war, but this nation is asleep. Get yourself tested. Sex without a condom can serve the death sentence,” the former Eurythmics vocalist best known for hits like Sweet Dreams and There Must Be An Angel said.

She was addressing more than 20 000 people on the fairway at the Fancourt Golf Estate in the southern Cape town of George.

Lennox shared the stage with a host of international stars, including Hollywood actor Will Smith and his wife Jada Pinkett, Queen band members, Paul Rodgers, Katie Melua and India Arie.

Heartthrob actor Brad Pitt sent a video message to the concert, that included television viewers throughout Africa, apologising for not being able to attend.

He and Smith are among a growing number of high-profile celebrities from around the world who have given their time as ambassadors for the 46664 campaign since its launch in late 2003.
