News – South Africa: Shaik prison release is unfair – readers
WARNING: This is Version 1 of my old archive, so Photos will NOT work and many links will NOT work. But you can find articles by searching on the Titles. There is a lot of information in this archive. Use the SEARCH BAR at the top right. Prior to December 2012; I was a pro-Christian type of Conservative. I was unaware of the mass of Jewish lies in history, especially the lies regarding WW2 and Hitler. So in here you will find pro-Jewish and pro-Israel material. I was definitely WRONG about the Boeremag and Janusz Walus. They were for real.

Convicted fraudster Schabir Shaik has been released on medical parole, reportedly because he is “gravely ill”.
IOL asked readers: “Was Schabir Shaik’s release from prison fair?”
Of the 697 people who voted in the poll, 11 percent (77 votes) said “Yes”; 76 percent (532 votes) said “No”; and 13 percent (88 votes) said “Who cares?”
Some reader comments:
Sonny: Until more credible details have been released, I suspect something fishy has been going on with his release. Perhaps money under the counter? I predict he will make a miraculous recovery after the election in April and that he will then be pardoned by the new president of the country, after all, he is owned one by the president to be.You cannot trust anything where some members of the ruling party are connected with or have a shady finger in the pie, most are corrupt anyway.
Richard: Shaik entered prison fit and well and with a smiling face. The second day he suddenly became ill and spent his time in hospital. Now he gets stretchered out back home, a free man . Whats the secret regarding his health, if he is so “gravely” ill ?? Or is this just another above the law incident because of high profile connections.
J Ross: The law is very clear with regards to medical parol. The prisoner MUST be in teh LAST stages of a TERMINAL illness. That means he only qualifies if he WILL die within a month.Being gravely ill does not qualify. This case must be sent to the parol review baord as it smacks of corruption. 3 doctors said he was gravely ill but NONE of them have said he is terminally ill which is the requirement by law. Apart from that it is easy to buy doctors that will write whatever you want on the letter. This is yet another indication, along with Zuma promising him a pardon, of where our beautiful country is heading.
Max: This is shocking, the law states that you will only be released on medical parole if you are in the FINAL STAGES of your terminal illness, now if he was in the final stages as said before surely he would go to hospital? oh and if you read the papers this morning is he gets better Correctional services have no power to put him be. whats up with that? if he is terminally ill how can he get better????
Anonymous: This whole release is a corrupt farce. There is no two ways about it and no polite way to say it. The law regarding medical parol is very specific – you must be in th e last stages of terminal illness ie you will die within a month or so of being released. Now they are telling us if Shaik has a miraculous recovery which I would lay a month’s salary on he will, he cannot be sent back to prison. South Afrca is turning into a joke. This criminal and I can say that, has been paid R5million for his toruble and now is intending to have the rest of his money he earned through his crime returned to him. If he does then this country is an embarrassment in the world.. A loyal and honest South Africa
Zowee: Thank God that Mr Shaik is free @ last,He learned his lesson. There are people who kill and rape innocent kids and they walk free on the streets and people are complaining about Shaik being relase from jail.
Andrew P: I am not so sure what everyone is so worked up about , this not so cheap immoral crook is supposed to be terminally ill so best everyone keeps quiet and waits until he dies. One wonders though, perhaps the paid off medical professionals who helped him escape should enlighten us to how long terminally ill prisoner patients are allowed to live? Has he got a week, a year, a decade? After all, to some extent, we are all terminal.
