Mystery of South Africa’s collapsing currency…

WARNING: This is Version 1 of my old archive, so Photos will NOT work and many links will NOT work. But you can find articles by searching on the Titles. There is a lot of information in this archive. Use the SEARCH BAR at the top right. Prior to December 2012; I was a pro-Christian type of Conservative. I was unaware of the mass of Jewish lies in history, especially the lies regarding WW2 and Hitler. So in here you will find pro-Jewish and pro-Israel material. I was definitely WRONG about the Boeremag and Janusz Walus. They were for real.

South Africa’s currency, the Rand has lost almost 40% of its value against the US Dollar in the last year. In December the currency went into a steep decline.

But the question is why? President Mbeki claims that the economy is one of the best-performing in the world. Now that is a blatant lie. The economy is merely crawling along.

Various theories have been advanced as to why the currency is collapsing. Gordon Frisch, a friend of mine in the USA who is a geopolitical analyst says it is no mystery. The Rand is collapsing because the fundamentals of our economy are in a bad state and the Rand’s collapse is natural.

However, within South Africa, many people are asking questions about the Rand’s collapse. I noticed that neither the ANC, nor communists (like the Minister of Trade, Eric Erwin) actually seemed concerned. I have entertained the thought that maybe the government itself actually wants the Rand to collapse. Why? I have been wondering if they want to drive Western businessmen and capitalists out by making investment in South Africa a losing proposition?

If our currency collapses then people who invested here will lose money and won’t want to burn their fingers again. Eric Erwin, the Minister of Trade & Industry, has never hid the fact that he is a communist. When businessmen were panicking, he was very nonchalant saying the Rand’s collapse was a good thing, making our exports cheaper. So I wonder if the communists want this to happen?

Another thought I have had is that maybe Gordon is right, and maybe American businessmen have come to the conclusion, finally, that there is no hope for southern Africa and now they are just pulling out and getting it over with? That too could explain why the Rand is falling.

Finally, the head of SACOB (South African Chamber of Business) requested a government enquiry into the reasons for the collapse. He says something fishy is going on. He says he has information on good authority that there has been a GLOBAL CAMPAIGN to drive the Rand down. But he wanted a full government enquiry (which the government does not seem to be interested in).

Regardless of how you look at it, things are bad, and there seems to be more to this than meets the eye.

Here are some excerpts from Mbeki’s speech on the 90th anniversary of the founding of the African National Congress.

Note this blatant lie: “… Mbeki said the reasons for the depreciation of the rand, ‘are difficult to find’ and had ‘nothing whatsoever to do with our national economy’.”

That’s not true. The economy is not in good shape.

Note his message of socialism and class warfare:

“… he also acknowledged that the country has ‘to overcome the enormous racial, gender and geographic disparities that continue to exist in the distribution of wealth, income and opportunity,’ and he urged investment in education and technological development.”

No doubt, in time, more will surface regarding the bizarre fall of the Rand – which, no doubt is in part related to the problems of Zimbabwe.

Perhaps, in the final analysis, many factors are at work, some just due to bad luck, and others which the government has no interest in countering.

It has been noted that the Reserve Bank is not forcefully countering the trend. It has just sat back and let the Rand slide without attempting to prop it up. So this, once more, may show the Government actually wants this to happen.

In southern Africa, anything is possible…
