Limpopo police are looking for the people who set fire to a municipal councillor’s house in a suspected cholera-related protest.
Superintendent Mohale Ramatseba said on Thursday that the councillor’s house in the Greater Tubatse Municipality was burnt down on Monday.
No arrests had been made in relation to the incident. Police could not confirm the motive for the crime.
A 10th cholera death was reported in Limpopo on Wednesday and 2 650 more people were suffering from the disease since the outbreak began in November last year. – Sapa
