News – South Africa: COPE confirms new leadership

WARNING: This is Version 1 of my old archive, so Photos will NOT work and many links will NOT work. But you can find articles by searching on the Titles. There is a lot of information in this archive. Use the SEARCH BAR at the top right. Prior to December 2012; I was a pro-Christian type of Conservative. I was unaware of the mass of Jewish lies in history, especially the lies regarding WW2 and Hitler. So in here you will find pro-Jewish and pro-Israel material. I was definitely WRONG about the Boeremag and Janusz Walus. They were for real.

Former defence minister Mosiuoa “Terror” Lekota was on Tuesday named president of the newly formed Congress of the People (COPE).

Lekota “served divorce papers” on the ANC in October to form the breakaway group.

Lekota’s two deputies are former Gauteng premier Mbhazima Shilowa, in the post of first deputy president, and Lynda Odendaal of Gauteng as second deputy president.

Mosiuoa Gerard Patrick “Terror” Lekota served in the defence ministry from 1999 to 2008.

The 60-year-old was born in the Senekal area of the Free State province and studied at the St Francis College in KwaZulu-Natal's Mariannhill area.

Lekota was locked up at the Robben Island prison from 1974 to 1982 for “conspiring to commit acts endangering the maintenance of law and order”.

He became known as Terror because of his aggressive moves on the soccer field as a young boy.

The new party’s leadership team includes Charlotte Lobe as its secretary-general, with Deidre Carter as her deputy.

The position of treasurer general is held by Hilda Ndude; head of policy is Smuts Ngonyama; and national organiser is Mluleki George, who served as Lekota’s deputy minister of defence.

Cope’s communications will be headed by Phillip Dexter, assisted by Linda Hlophe, who will also be involved in national affairs. – Sapa
