News – South Africa: No place to hide for wanted suspects

WARNING: This is Version 1 of my old archive, so Photos will NOT work and many links will NOT work. But you can find articles by searching on the Titles. There is a lot of information in this archive. Use the SEARCH BAR at the top right. Prior to December 2012; I was a pro-Christian type of Conservative. I was unaware of the mass of Jewish lies in history, especially the lies regarding WW2 and Hitler. So in here you will find pro-Jewish and pro-Israel material. I was definitely WRONG about the Boeremag and Janusz Walus. They were for real.

Police are closing in on the suspects wanted for a cash heist at Maphumulo, outside Stanger, last month.

Two police officers were killed and two were injured when a gang of about 16 men ambushed them as they escorted a cash van in the area.

Four people wanted in connection with the heist have been killed by police. Three guards transporting the cash and two other men were arrested last month. However, the two men escaped from the Cato Manor police station’s holding cells on December 1.

Community safety and liasion MEC Bheki Cele said on Friday that police were tracking the men.

“If they are still in this province, then we will find them. We have information on some of them and the officers are closing in on them.”

Cele said suspects in the province would have no place to hide this festive season.

“We will have police manning roadblocks along with the road traffic inspectorate officers. The Morpho-touch fingerprint system (which can access criminal records) will be used and anyone with outstanding warrants of arrest against them will be arrested.”

Cele said the police’s “war room” would also be operational and would focus on priority crimes such as business and house robberies, and hijackings.

Police Supt Jay Naicker said the war room, which was based at the Durban Central police station, was equipped to handle any situation.

“Officers from crime intelligence, the criminal records centre and detectives will be manning the room and will be deploying units as needed.”

Naicker said the team would be able to link crimes.
