I was definitely WRONG about the Boeremag and Janusz Walus. They were for real.

A University of KwaZulu-Natal student appeared in court on Monday in connection with the alleged rape of a fellow student at a male residence at Howard College on the Durban campus on Saturday.
The incident came after the rape of a 21-year-old American exchange student, also at Howard College, a year ago. She was attacked at the Mabel Palmer residence.
The alleged rapist made a brief appearance in the Durban Magistrate’s Court on Monday.
The university said bail was being opposed and he remained in custody. Pending his trial and possible internal disciplinary action, the student had been barred from any UKZN campus.
Police Superintendent Muzi Mngomezulu said the incident happened about midnight. He said the alleged rapist, two friends, the 19-year-old victim and her female friend had returned from a bar where they had had drinks.
Mngomezulu said the victim asked someone in the group for a key to a room where she could use the toilet.
“The accused then followed her inside the room and allegedly raped her.
“The three friends are possible witnesses because they saw the alleged rapist enter the room where the alleged rape happened.”
UKZN students’ representative council Secretary-General Mondli Mkhize said the organisation was concerned about the incident. He said the SRC was trying to provide support to the victim and alleged rapist.
“We’ll support the victim because we understand what she’s going through. And equally with the accused, we’ll also need to assist him because the university will not allow him back in,” he said.
Central students’ council president Sandile Phakathi lashed out at the university for “racism”.
He said the council “noted with shame” the inconsistency with which cases of rape were dealt at the institution.
“We don’t hear the same noise as we did when an American student was raped, which leaves us with the conclusion that the university condones such if it happens to black students. It is really a shame.”
UKZN executive dean of students Trevor Wills said the incident was reported immediately to the university’s security services, which led to the arrest of the alleged rapist. Wills said the alleged rapist had, pending the rape trial and possible disciplinary action by the university, been prohibited from entering UKZN campuses.
“The victim is in the care of her family. The university is appalled by this. A strong message needs to be sent out to the man responsible that violence against women will not be tolerated. The university will provide whatever support it can for victims. We applaud the bravery of students who come forward to report gender violence and relationship abuse. We will offer them protection, support and assistance in ensuring that the violence is ended,” he said.
