WARNING: This is Version 1 of my old archive, so Photos will NOT work and many links will NOT work. But you can find articles by searching on the Titles. There is a lot of information in this archive. Use the SEARCH BAR at the top right. Prior to December 2012; I was a pro-Christian type of Conservative. I was unaware of the mass of Jewish lies in history, especially the lies regarding WW2 and Hitler. So in here you will find pro-Jewish and pro-Israel material. I was definitely WRONG about the Boeremag and Janusz Walus. They were for real.

Friends and colleagues have packed the Jeppe police station hall where a moving memorial service was held in honour of slain police inspector Andries van Tonder.

Louis, the deceased’s brother, wept quietly on Wednesday as he listened to emotional tributes by Van Tonder’s colleagues and friends.

Van Tonder had worked at the station for 17 years.

Provincial Commissioner Perumal Naidoo described Van Tonder’s death as “very emotional” for the police, his family and the community.

This was reiterated by Jeppe station commissioner Director Danie Louw, who repeated Deputy National Commissioner Magda Stander’s words in August that “the murder of a police member is a bitter blow to everyone, not only to their families and the (police service), but also to the community they served”.

Van Tonder (38) was gunned down by armed men in Bez Valley last week while he was transporting their friend to a police station after he had arrested him for the possession of an AK-47.

The gunmen freed their friend and left Van Tonder lying dead, while his colleague, a student constable, was wounded in the shootout.

Louw said: “His legacy was to serve his community in their time of need and to fight crime with all the knowledge and resources he had.”

Van Tonder’s widow Yvonne cut a forlorn figure. The couple’s children, Andrika, 8, and Eugene, 12, were comforted by family members.

“Yvonne, please know that your loss is our loss that the heartache you experience is what we feel, and our memories will be no different to yours,” Louw said.

Van Tonder’s funeral service was due to be held at the Dutch Reformed Church in King Street, Malvern, at noon on Thursday.

Police spokesperson Superintendent Lungelo Dlamini on Wednesday said no arrests had been made. Police were working tirelessly to make a breakthrough.
