Russians and Egyptians discuss Anti-Terrorist operations

WARNING: This is Version 1 of my old archive, so Photos will NOT work and many links will NOT work. But you can find articles by searching on the Titles. There is a lot of information in this archive. Use the SEARCH BAR at the top right. Prior to December 2012; I was a pro-Christian type of Conservative. I was unaware of the mass of Jewish lies in history, especially the lies regarding WW2 and Hitler. So in here you will find pro-Jewish and pro-Israel material. I was definitely WRONG about the Boeremag and Janusz Walus. They were for real.

[The Egyptians are not to be trusted… they want to help those who want to destroy Israel. One wonders what they really discussed… Maybe more like how to wipe Israel off the face of the Earth… The UN is a disgusting organisation that helps Communists and Terrorists move forward in this world. Jan]

MOSCOW, May 28 (RIA Novosti) – President Vladimir Putin of the Russian Federation and President Hosni Mubarak of Egypt will negotiate in the Kremlin today, discussing anti-terrorist operations, efforts to formalize the UN’s leading role and the non-proliferation of mass destruction weapons.

Russia and Egypt advocate a multipolar world, which would hinge on the UN’s central role in the system of international relations, a Kremlin source told RIA Novosti here today.

Besides, Moscow and Cairo reject all forms and manifestations of international terrorism, resolutely fighting such terrorism within the framework of the global counter-terrorist campaign, the presidential-administration spokesman noted.

Talking to Rossiiskaya Gazeta, Hosni Mubarak also said that he wanted to discuss anti-terrorist operations with Vladimir Putin, no matter what.

Mubarak once again suggested holding an international anti-terrorist conference, which would adopt specific binding decisions for all countries of the world.

Terrorism is an international problem, which will plague all countries; that’s why all countries must assume responsibility in the context of this threat, Mubarak went on to say. In his opinion, the projected conference should make it incumbent on all countries not to grant political asylum to any terrorists whatsoever.

RIA Novosti was told by Russian foreign ministry official spokesman Alexander Yakovenko that Russia is studying the Egyptian president’s proposals in regard to holding an international conference on the fight against terrorism.

Egypt ranks among Russia’s key Mideastern and African partners in regional and international affairs, he stressed.

Vladimir Putin and Hosni Mubarak will also discuss the Iraqi situation and the Mideastern situation, as well as cooperation between Russia and the Islamic Conference organization, during their Kremlin talks, RIA Novosti learned at the presidential administration.

Egypt supports Russia’s line at expanding its cooperation with the Islamic Conference Organization; consequently, both leaders will discuss the more effective use of our contacts with the Islamic world for the sake of building a safer world, expanding inter-civilizational dialogue and facilitating a political settlement of international and regional issues, the Kremlin spokesman noted.

For his own part, the Russian Foreign Ministry’s spokesman told RIA Novosti that our two countries were discussing the possibility of granting observer status to Russia within the framework of the Islamic Conference Organization. Previously, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that Russia might receive that status already this summer.

The establishment of a long-term and comprehensive Mideastern peace will top the Russian-Egyptian summit’s agenda, the Kremlin source added.

Given Egypt’s weighty and invariably active role in Mideastern affairs, the sides will attach priority to the search for various options making it possible to unblock the virtual peace-process impasse, that in Palestinian-Israeli relations, first and foremost, he said.

Previously, the President of Egypt hailed Russia’s role in facilitating a Mideastern peace settlement. Moscow can facilitate this peace settlement in Palestinian-Israeli relations, as well as that for the entire region, including Iraq, he noted.

The Iraqi situation is a highly important regional issue, said the source. In his words, Moscow and Cairo voice similar positions on this score.

According to the source, both statesmen would also be expected to discuss specific terms for settling Israel’s relations with Syria and Lebanon because any comprehensive and lasting Mideastern peace otherwise seems impossible.
