Health Minister Manto Tshabalala-Msimang has been appointed to represent Africa in the World Health Assembly, it was reported.
Tshabalala-Msimang was elected one of five vice presidents of the assembly at Geneva on Monday. She will be responsible for co-ordinating Africa’s position on topical health issues.
