A friend of mine who reads newspapers from end to end and who is a newspaper MANIAC (he buys several newspapers EACH DAY – and goes through them all!!!), was remarking to me the other day: “Where have all the public companies gone?” He mentioned that in the newspapers the list of listed companies on the stock market used to cover 2 pages of the newspaper, and now it fits on one page. So where have half of South Africa’s listed corporations gone?
Well… remember this whole COMMUNISM/SOCIALISM thing?
They’re either bankrupt or they merged themselves out of existence (which also only occurs when business is tough).
And like I said, I heard yesterday that my former best friend is leaving SA for the 2nd time in about 10 years.
This time… people are fleeing… including AFRIKANERS. I’ve never seen so many AFRIKANERS leaving this country. I can’t believe it.
