About the ANC, Russia, China & Zim: My Liberal Friend admits I’m right more often than he is…

WARNING: This is Version 1 of my old archive, so Photos will NOT work and many links will NOT work. But you can find articles by searching on the Titles. There is a lot of information in this archive. Use the SEARCH BAR at the top right. Prior to December 2012; I was a pro-Christian type of Conservative. I was unaware of the mass of Jewish lies in history, especially the lies regarding WW2 and Hitler. So in here you will find pro-Jewish and pro-Israel material. I was definitely WRONG about the Boeremag and Janusz Walus. They were for real.

My Liberal friend, who actually once was a Commandant in Military Intelligence in South Africa, made an interesting admission this evening. He is a freak for information. I have never met anyone who reads as many newspapers as he does. He buys several newspapers every day and reads all sections of them. He told me that when he was in military intelligence well over 20 years ago, he read a lot. Its a habit that has never left him. He actually trained as a scientist, a biologist in fact, before joining the South African army.

We chat a lot about many things even though we hold very different views, but I find it interesting, and he gets me thinking too.

These days we also accept our differences, and we can agree to disagree without any bit hassle.

We were talking about the future of Zimbabwe.

I told my friend that Mugabe will dig his heels in and the way I see it, China and the South Africa will support him, and very possibly the Russians too.

Then my friend began giving me a long dissertation on:-
1. Why China would not send troops to Zimbabwe and dig in with Mugabe.
2. Why Russia would not do that as well.
3. Why the ANC can’t afford to get too deeply involved in Zimbabwe.

I said to him that we will have to agree to disagree on this one and that we will have to let reality and the future be the judge as to which one of us is right.

Then as my friend was arguing with me he paused and said, Maybe I shouldn’t argue with you on this one because in the past you’ve been right more often than you’ve been wrong!!

I smiled. He then tried to catch me out by pointing to things I had NOT got right. I said, that the MDC’s sudden strength these days and their massive victory over Mugabe and the way they handled it – caught me by surprise and I was utterly delighted. I said to him that currently I am enjoying politics so much. Currently, for the first time ever, it really is a lot of fun! Its really wild stuff and I’m loving it.

I said to him that I will concede, that there is some strangeness in the ANC and I will need to watch it a bit longer with regard to Zimbabwe. However, my gut feel is that the ANC will support Mugabe more than anyone can imagine.

My Liberal friend said he finds this utterly impossible to believe.

Some days ago, we discussed Mbeki. He went into a psycho-babble session saying that perhaps Mbeki’s conception of reality is such that he actually believes what he is saying.

I said to him: Stop! It has nothing to do with Mbeki’s psychology… Mbeki is lying through his teeth. He’s just a bloody LIAR – its that simple. No need to make excuses for him. He knows what is what. He knows he has to lie to assist Mugabe, and so he lies. Its that simple.

With regard to Zimbabwe, I was saying to my friend, I wonder if Zimbabwe’s Civil War could be worse than the Angolan Civil war. I said to him that I think enough BIG PLAYERS might get into it to make it really bad. I said to him that the whole Zimbabwe thing might start out as MDC versus Mugabe, but there are deeper issues here. Mugabe’s line, for example, about neo-colonialism may strike a chord among some African nations, and South Africa is definitely on the same bandwagon. The whole thing then expands into the influence of the West in Africa versus the influence of China & Russia. And then too, there is the issue of Whites and whether White people will be allowed to live in Zimbabwe in the future. This is not just about whether the MDC wins, but about whether Whites will be allowed to be more than just second rate citizens in an African country. In Mugabe’s Zimbabwe, and in the ANC’s South Africa, Whites are EXPECTED to accept being second-rate citizens and to never play a major role in the life and politics of the country – since these Leftist Blacks can’t handle competition and decent ideas. They prefer that Whites just be lap dogs and nothing more. In Zimbabwe, Whites have played an important role in the MDC. In Zimbabwe, many Blacks do appreciate the value of Whites and they want Whites to return there. So I think a simple war over electoral cheating could expand into many other things and it might bring things to a head between even major players.

I want to watch a few other developments in Africa to assess what sort of support Mugabe has.

It also depends on how the West approaches the matter. Look, the West is pretty cunning, and I must hand it to them – they know how to use politics and economics and diplomacy as weapons. Mugabe will just resort to force and will just murder the opposition.

My friend also said to me the other night how “irresponsible” can China be sending weapons to Zimbabwe? I said to him China is not “irresponsible”. These are communist trash after all. The morality of a war is not something that bothers them. They’ll defend their “black Communist brothers”.

This game has a long way to go, and we’ll be seeing some interesting things. But I think a lot of deeper issues are at stake here. Stick around. Southern Africa is going to become extremely interesting. In my mind, Southern Africa will be the next “Middle East” – a real trouble spot with lots of issues because of the shoddy job done by Jimmy Carter, Henry Kissinger and many others when they engaged in “settlements”.

My Liberal friend and I did discuss at length America’s game in Africa. He was insightful and I liked his thoughts. He spoke about America “always being in the game” and that is why if America can’t find one ally, then they’ll turn to an enemy and try to turn them into an ally. Thus America ensures that it is IN THE GAME EVERYWHERE. It is AGGRESSIVELY IN THE GAME AT ALL TIMES. So it made me appreciate the perspective from which the American diplomats function. There may be more method to their madness than I appreciated.

The only proviso though, is to remember who your real enemies are and not to think that your enemy is your “friend” just because you signed a deal with them. One must ask: Who is moderating who? Are the Americans “moderating” the Black Marxists or are the Black Marxists fooling America into thinking they really are their “friends?” Who is falling for who’s lies? Sometimes I wonder if the American diplomats aren’t fooling themselves more than they’re fooling the Africans??

Its all interesting and fascinating. We have a *LOT* of excitement ahead in southern Africa. We will have to see if any progress can be made peacefully or whether in the end, this will just end in a bloodbath.

For me, wars and bloodbaths are of minor consequence. There are PRINCIPLES and TRUTHS which must be defended – no matter what the cost in human life. There comes a time, when people must be prepared to die for a CONCEPT which will have value for future generations. We are getting to that time.
