‘White poverty is silent poverty’

WARNING: This is Version 1 of my old archive, so Photos will NOT work and many links will NOT work. But you can find articles by searching on the Titles. There is a lot of information in this archive. Use the SEARCH BAR at the top right. Prior to December 2012; I was a pro-Christian type of Conservative. I was unaware of the mass of Jewish lies in history, especially the lies regarding WW2 and Hitler. So in here you will find pro-Jewish and pro-Israel material. I was definitely WRONG about the Boeremag and Janusz Walus. They were for real.

ANC Pesident Jacob Zuma has promised to act to improve the conditions of poor whites in Pretoria.

On a visit to the informal settlement of Bethlehem in Andeon, west of the city on Friday, Zuma said while he knew poverty did exist in the white community, he had not realised the extent of it.

“I promise to take this to the municipality in Pretoria, to give them a message – I am sure something must be done,” said Zuma.

The informal settlement, one of about 38 such settlements for indigent whites, is home to about 30 people.

He tucked into a hearty plate of traditional lamb potjiekos prepared by the residents.

“(White poverty) may not be as massive as black poverty in terms of numbers, but you have shown me that it exists,” he said to Solidarity officials who had invited him.

Solidarity deputy secretary general Dirk Herman said the face of poverty in South Africa was changing. “All wealthy South Africans are no longer white and all poor South Africans are no longer black.

“(But) white poverty is silent poverty. It is not politically correct to talk about it, making it probably the only poverty in the world that is politically incorrect,” he claimed.

Bethlehem’s “matriarch” Cazandra Nel asked Zuma to speak to the council about supplying the residents with electricity.

“It is getting cold and we have no hot water,” she said.

Nel presented Zuma with several gifts, including a set of spoons while Solidarity presented him with a copy of Dirk Hermann’s book, The Naked Emperor: Why affirmative action failed, which he promised to read and return to debate.

On a quick tour of the settlement, Zuma met some of the residents and saw first-hand their living conditions.

Nel said she hoped Zuma’s visit would lead to an improvement of conditions for the residents who do not even have hot water.
