SA: The ANC Scum in action: Rasool seeks memorial for fallen MK cadres

WARNING: This is Version 1 of my old archive, so Photos will NOT work and many links will NOT work. But you can find articles by searching on the Titles. There is a lot of information in this archive. Use the SEARCH BAR at the top right. Prior to December 2012; I was a pro-Christian type of Conservative. I was unaware of the mass of Jewish lies in history, especially the lies regarding WW2 and Hitler. So in here you will find pro-Jewish and pro-Israel material. I was definitely WRONG about the Boeremag and Janusz Walus. They were for real.

[Rasool shows his real colours. I can’t help wondering if Rasool lied into the faces of the Jews when he met them and whether they bought it.

When dealing with rubbish like the ANC, one must never forget that one is dealing with a Barbarian – an animal that will look straight into your eyes and tell you a convincing (or not so convincing) lie. One must not take their words seriously. Lying is second nature to them. Jan]

A memorial to acknowledge the role of Umkhonto weSizwe (MK) veterans should be erected in Cape Town, says Western Cape premier Ebrahim Rasool.

Speaking at the launch of the provincial MK Veterans Association in Bellville at the weekend, Rasool said the province drew many tourists every year, but there was nothing to acknowledge those who had died in the fight against apartheid.

“We cannot have a Western Cape visited by two million tourists – and by World Cup 2010, we will probably have five million people visiting the province – while there is not one memorial, one statue, one gravesite that (allows us to) show all those visitors who the architects and fighters for our freedom were,” said Rasool.

‘So we have unfinished business on our agenda’

“So we have unfinished business on our agenda.

“That is, how do we go and fetch and bring back and bury, with pride and dignity, again the cadres of this province whose remains lie all over Angola where they fought the forces of reaction.

“It is not just a government responsibility, but a responsibility we must share with the private sector and we must be led in this by the veterans and the cadres of Umkhonto weSizwe.”

He said that “calm” should be brought to the hearts of the parents of those who died in the anti-apartheid struggle.

Referring to the assassinated Namibian liberation fighter Anton Lubowski, whose mother died last week, Rasool said she died not knowing exactly what had happened to her son amid the disinformation spread by the apartheid government.

“We cannot let more mothers and fathers go to their graves with that great unknown, with that mystery in their hearts.

“It is our responsibility to start a process (through which) we not only return the remains, but more importantly (ensure) that there is a memorial in Cape Town that honours those who opened the path for freedom, who gave their lives,” he said.

Two memorials have already been erected in Cape Town in acknowledgement of the city’s freedom fighters.

The Trojan Horse memorial in Thornton Road, Athlone, was erected to honour young people who died during the struggle, while the Gugulethu Seven Memorial in NY1 honours seven freedom fighters who died in the area during apartheid.

Questions were raised about the maintenance of the two memorials earlier this year, but apart from appearing rusty, the Trojan Horse memorial still seems intact. The light bulbs used to illuminate individual figures at the Gugulethu memorial are missing.
