Dutch plan to build an electricity-generating ‘tulip-island’ in the North Sea

WARNING: This is Version 1 of my old archive, so Photos will NOT work and many links will NOT work. But you can find articles by searching on the Titles. There is a lot of information in this archive. Use the SEARCH BAR at the top right. Prior to December 2012; I was a pro-Christian type of Conservative. I was unaware of the mass of Jewish lies in history, especially the lies regarding WW2 and Hitler. So in here you will find pro-Jewish and pro-Israel material. I was definitely WRONG about the Boeremag and Janusz Walus. They were for real.

The ‘innovation platform’ headed by Dutch prime-minister Jan Peter Balkenende has come up with a fascinating plan to create electricity from an artificial ‘tulip-island’ in front of the Dutch coast.

Dutch North-Sea coast: plans for a huge chunk of new real-estate which generates electricity to boot, has investors deeply interested:

By creating various difference in water-levels inside the artificial island, electricity could be created. Dutch real-estate brokers also are deeply interested in creating more land, and are watching the plan keenly.
A think thank has now been set up to work out this specific plan further and also to find the financing for it – which in the Netherlands always goes hand-in-hand.

The business community is being asked to actively invest in the scheme, which is seen as a lucrative business-venture especially by real estate brokers.

The entire plan was discussed in detail at a conference in Scheveningen om Monday, where financial experts also proferred their optimistic opinion that this plan was a winner and financially feasable because the cost of land-reclamation projects from oceans has dropped considerably due to:

1. The high level of expertise gained in this field;
2. Soaring Dutch land-prices and
3. The rapid rise in the price of oil – which will give any such plans for creating alternative energy sources an extra boost.

Balkenende said ‘we must think big, because these problems we are facing are big. The Netherlands has to keep up its good name, we’ve had our land-reclamation projects (‘polders”); and our massive Delta-works to protect the hinterland from flooding and we must not break this chain of big successes.
“Thinking big has given us a considrable economic advantage in the past and we must not break this chain, but become even more pro-active and innovative’.

The Dutch cabinet together with its business community also are budgeting 45-million Euro to create the “Flood Control 2015” and the “Building with Nature’ projects to stop the water-logged country from slipping beneath the rising ocean-levels.

The North Sea from space: ( by the way, note that wave of polluted water streaming from the mouth of the River Thames running through London…)

The North Sea is not all that deep: it lies on the continental plate between the UK and Europe, and Dutch water-engineers believe that creating an artificial island there would be entirely feasible.
