SA: One-Time flight in emergency landing at Cape Town airport – and Umtata airport robbed of guns

WARNING: This is Version 1 of my old archive, so Photos will NOT work and many links will NOT work. But you can find articles by searching on the Titles. There is a lot of information in this archive. Use the SEARCH BAR at the top right. Prior to December 2012; I was a pro-Christian type of Conservative. I was unaware of the mass of Jewish lies in history, especially the lies regarding WW2 and Hitler. So in here you will find pro-Jewish and pro-Israel material. I was definitely WRONG about the Boeremag and Janusz Walus. They were for real.

Die Burger newspaper reports that Flight IT134 of One-Time Airline (“1-Time”) was forced to return to Cape town airport on February 3 within just minutes of taking off for Johannesburg — a bird had been sucked into one of its engines, forcing an emergency landing.

Die Burger newspaper reports that the plane – the make and type were not reported — already was 3,048 metres in the air when the bird hit the engine.
One passenger said they heard ‘a loud bang’ and then felt the plane descend.

Mrs Cynthia Holster, 46 of Cape Town said she was ‘terrified when the captain announced that he was going to carry out an emergency landing.

“We had to put our hands behind our heads for the landing. Once back on mother earth, one of the passengers said she would never fly again. She decided to take her bakkie and drive to Johannesburg instead’…

Glen Orsmond managing director of One-Time airline, said the pilot did an excellent job. “He had to turn off the struck engine during the emergency and handled the situation very well’.

UMTATA AIRPORT ROBBED OF FOUR HANDGUNS – NO SHOTS FIRED…

By the way — three armed robbers also attacked the Mthatha/Umtata airport in the Eastern Cape at around 2am Saturday-morning.

Provincial (?) police spokesman supt. Mzukisi Fatyela said the three men robbed ‘four revolvers and 52 rounds of ammunition — without a shot being fired…
The “Provincial Police” (?) spokesman also didn’t say who had been robbed of these handguns, nor provide any other details of this deeply mysterious incident, which was reported to Burger journalist Illana Frantz

WHAT IS A ‘PROVINCIAL POLICE SPOKESMAN’?

Question: Does anybody know what a “provincial police” force consists of?
– Is this similar to the ill-devised “metropolitian police’ I.E. are provinces now hiring their own cops SEPERATELY — or are ‘provincial police’ part of the ‘national police” still run by the temporarily ‘on paid leave’ National Police Commissioner Jackie Selebi?

It’s all getting very confusing, all this deliberate fragmentation of the country’s law-enforcement fractions.
