I was definitely WRONG about the Boeremag and Janusz Walus. They were for real.

A 32-year-old Korean woman has been found murdered in her Rondebosch home – the second murder in the area in a fortnight – and police think her body may have lain in the house for up to five days.
Yon Suk Ju was found on Friday night with her hands and feet bound. It is believed she was strangled and then had a knife plunged through her neck.
Her decomposing body, which may have been lying in the house since Monday, had been shoved under a bed in the ransacked five-bedroomed house in Park Road, Park Estate.
There was no sign of forced entry.
Two weeks earlier, University of Cape Town commercial law professor Mike Larkin was stabbed to death in Roslyn Road while walking to church.
Police stepped up patrols in the area following the attack, but three days later a man was mugged by seven youngsters and residents are still nervous.
Ju had been living in the Park Road house since April after moving to South Africa to study English.
Sue Norgarb, the previous owner of the house, said Ju, who was known as Sarah by some and Jules by others, was petite and very polite.
The two shared the property for two months when Ju arrived in the city.
Norgarb said Ju had planned to turn the house, which consisted of two semi-detached properties and two flatlets, into a guesthouse.
“When I went to the house after hearing the news I couldn’t help thinking ‘that’s my house. It could have been me’.”
Ju’s car, a red VW Jetta, was stolen after the attack but recovered in Gugulethu.
The police apparently came to the house to notify Ju that they had found the car, but left, not realising she was lying dead inside.
Her body is believed to have been found by a friend who had a key and became concerned when Ju had not answered her phone for a few days.
A tenant who lived on the property had been away for the week in Hermanus.
Anton Peters, chairperson of the lower Park Estate neighbourhood watch, said the murder was a wake-up call and he intended lobbying residents to contribute to extra bicycle patrols.
The house is opposite the Marist War Memorial Club.
The area is noticeable for its high walls and security. Practically every house has an ADT sign up and most residents have installed alarm systems, intruder alert beams and spikes. Police patrols are frequent.
Yet none of this appears to be deterring criminals, whose attacks have become ever more brazen, according to residents.
Neighbour Norman Newman said his brother-in-law was hijacked outside his house earlier this year.
“The police caught the guys. They were out on bail for robbing the Spar up the road.”
Newman said a walkway at the end of Park Road, leading to Klipfontein Road, had come to be known as “criminal alley” because of the number of people who used it to flee after committing crimes in the area.
“Crime is out of control. What is worse is that it is so random. It’s invading the suburbs.”
Sydney Petersen, who has lived in the house next door for 59 years, said he’d noticed the mail piling up and that the rubbish hadn’t been put out on Thursday, but only found out the grisly truth when the police and mortuary van arrived on Friday night.
He said the area used to be safe. “We could leave the front door open. Now we have electric fences and burglar bars.”
Police spokesperson Inspector Bernadine Steyn said an autopsy would be conducted this week to determine the cause of death.
