The millionaire American communictions industralist, Ted Turner, will shortly visit Nicaragua, Murillo Rosario, wife of Nicaraguan president Daniel Ortega and director of the Council of Communication and Citizenship, stated Monday.
The founder of the television network CNN, Turner expressed his “joy, happiness and admiration” with respect to the return to power of Daniel, according toMurillo.
Turner is a great friend of Nicaragua and the Sandinistas and maintains a very good relation with Daniel, said Murillo, revealing that the famous industralist wrote a long message “of much affection” to the new government of Nicaragua.
Although Murillo did not publish the date of Turner’s visit to Nicaragua, she assured the media that it will be “soon” since the founding industralist of CNN has investments in Argentina and frequently travels there: “During one of those trips Turner will remain for several days with us in Managua.”
