Zim violence should be on racism conference agenda

WARNING: This is Version 1 of my old archive, so Photos will NOT work and many links will NOT work. But you can find articles by searching on the Titles. There is a lot of information in this archive. Use the SEARCH BAR at the top right. Prior to December 2012; I was a pro-Christian type of Conservative. I was unaware of the mass of Jewish lies in history, especially the lies regarding WW2 and Hitler. So in here you will find pro-Jewish and pro-Israel material. I was definitely WRONG about the Boeremag and Janusz Walus. They were for real.

Marthinus van Schalkwyk, deputy leader of the Democratic Alliance (DA) has
called on the government to feature the violence and “racism against white
Zimbabweans” on the agenda of the forthcoming World Conference against Racism
in Durban.

Van Schalkwyk said he had written a letter to this effect to Nkosazana
Dlamini-Zuma, the Foreign Affairs Minister. “I would like to request you, as
part of the South African contribution, to raise the issue of racism in
Zimbabwe under the government of President Robert Mugabe as part of the
conference proceedings,” said ‘Kortbroek’ Van Schalkwyk.

“It would be an opportunity missed if this conference only considered racism
of the past, which should naturally be considered, and did not also consider
current manifestations of racism and ethnic cleansing as in Zimbabwe,” he
said.

Van Schalkwyk said the contents of the letter were released to the media in
the interests of transparency.

Attached to the letter was a resolution which van Schalkwyk suggested should
be put forward by the South African government. It addressed the orchestrated
campaign against white Zimbabweans by Mugabe’s ruling Zanu-PF party.

The resolution also formally requested that Mary Robinson, the United Nations
Human Rights Commissioner lead a mission to Zimbabwe to assess the extent of
human rights abuses and to establish a permanent monitoring program in the
country. – Sapa
