I was definitely WRONG about the Boeremag and Janusz Walus. They were for real.

A Schroeders couple in KwaZulu-Natal have been found dead in a locked bedroom after apparently committing suicide by drug overdose at the weekend.
The bodies were found when the man’s son went to visit his father at his home near New Hanover on Saturday morning.
He found his father’s bedroom door locked.
Police Superintendent Henry Budhram said the son had tried several methods to open the door and had finally resorted to kicking it in.
He had found the bodies of his 58-year-old father and his 60-year-old companion lying on the bed.
Budhram said that police called to the scene had found a suicide note.
“The cause of death could be linked to an overdose, however, an autopsy will be held to determine the exact cause of their deaths,” he said.
Budhram said the man’s son would officially identify his father’s body on Monday, after which the couple’s names could be released.
In another incident at Pietermaritzburg, three people were shot and killed in a suspected double murder and suicide on Saturday.
Police suspect that Bafana Andries Makhathini, 50, shot his wife and stepdaughter dead before turning the gun on himself at Mvundlweni, near Plessislaer.
Budhram said that police had been called by a friend of Makhathini.
The friend had received a call from Makhathini who said he was being attacked by his wife and stepdaughter.
The man had hurried to Makhathini’s home and had heard a shot go off as he arrived.
He had knocked on the door, which was locked, and identified himself but had not received a reply.
“Police forced the door open and discovered the bodies of Makhathini, his wife, Duduzile, and Makhathini’s stepdaughter, Zandile, with gunshot wounds to the heads,” said Budhram.
