Ending poverty key objective for new ANC leader

WARNING: This is Version 1 of my old archive, so Photos will NOT work and many links will NOT work. But you can find articles by searching on the Titles. There is a lot of information in this archive. Use the SEARCH BAR at the top right. Prior to December 2012; I was a pro-Christian type of Conservative. I was unaware of the mass of Jewish lies in history, especially the lies regarding WW2 and Hitler. So in here you will find pro-Jewish and pro-Israel material. I was definitely WRONG about the Boeremag and Janusz Walus. They were for real.

The ANC says the choice of their future national leader depends on his ability eradicate of poverty

June 09, 2007, 18:30

The African National Congress (ANC) in Limpopo says the choice of their future national leader will depend on the ability to effectively contribute to the eradication of poverty. The province announced its position during the start of its two-day provincial policy conference in Polokwane today.

The province also took a position of neutrality with regard to the reduction of provinces in the country. Putting their heads together, the delegates from various ANC structures from all over Limpopo say they are modifying their organisation’s policy in the province, repositioning the organisation to deal with the ever changing political environment.

Their resolutions will form part of the national policy conference to be held later this year. Among their main concerns are poverty and unemployment. Benny Boshielo, the ANC Limpopo spokesperson, says: “We believe that there’s a case for adequate investment within the rural areas, so that we can then bring them to an equitable level with our urban centres… Once we have done that, we would then go into the issue of national leadership and say who’s able to lead this agenda.”

Sydney Mufamadi, the local government minister, Bridgett Mabandla, the justice minister, and Jabu Moleketi, deputy finance minister, attended the conference, which will end tomorrow.
