Gerry Adams urges to “redouble” efforts to save peace process
“All sides should show restraint and do everything in their power to ensure that a process is put in place which can allow this conflict to be resolved peacefully through genuine dialogue and engagement,” Adasm said.
Sinn Fein President Gerry Adams lamented “the breakdown of the peace process in the Spanish State in a statement released in the Northern Irish capital Belfast.
Adams also noted that now it’s important that all sides keep calm and they “redouble” their efforts to achieve a dialogued end to the conflict.
“However, the lessons of the Irish peace process and indeed every conflict resolution process throughout the world tells us that it is now important to redouble efforts to put the process there back on track,” the statement said.
“All sides should show restraint and do everything in their power to ensure that a process is put in place which can allow this conflict to be resolved peacefully through genuine dialogue and engagement,” the statement added.
