SA: Woman to sue cops for miscarriage

WARNING: This is Version 1 of my old archive, so Photos will NOT work and many links will NOT work. But you can find articles by searching on the Titles. There is a lot of information in this archive. Use the SEARCH BAR at the top right. Prior to December 2012; I was a pro-Christian type of Conservative. I was unaware of the mass of Jewish lies in history, especially the lies regarding WW2 and Hitler. So in here you will find pro-Jewish and pro-Israel material. I was definitely WRONG about the Boeremag and Janusz Walus. They were for real.

First she was pulled off the road by four Metro Police officers and handcuffed in front of her toddlers. Two weeks later she miscarried. Now she is being threatened with dismissal from her job with the police.

Police captain Jacqueline Kotze, 34, of Gordon’s Bay, is suffering from post traumatic stress and depression after the incident just before New Year where she was called a “white, rich bitch with an attitude”.

Her doctors booked her off work until the end of July. Medical and psychiatric documents were forwarded to the Somerset West police station where she worked in the finance department, and a receipt was obtained.

But last week Kotze received a letter from the police’s legal services department saying she was deemed to be absent without leave and that the “no work, no pay” rule applied.

She was instructed to resume her duties immediately.

However, following intervention by the Kotze’s attorneys, the police retracted the demand a day later.

Her husband Pierre Kotze said his wife had also been threatened with demotion.

“The trauma (of the loss of their third child) is too deep. The psychiatrist said it could take her two years to recover.”

He said they were coping, “but not well”.

The couple intended to sue the City of Cape Town for “substantial damages”.

Kevin Maxwell, spokesperson for the Metro Police, said the disciplinary hearing against the officers was still in progress, adding that a number of witnesses had testified.

It was due to resume on June 29, he said.
