Black South Africans are racist toward Zim aliens

WARNING: This is Version 1 of my old archive, so Photos will NOT work and many links will NOT work. But you can find articles by searching on the Titles. There is a lot of information in this archive. Use the SEARCH BAR at the top right. Prior to December 2012; I was a pro-Christian type of Conservative. I was unaware of the mass of Jewish lies in history, especially the lies regarding WW2 and Hitler. So in here you will find pro-Jewish and pro-Israel material. I was definitely WRONG about the Boeremag and Janusz Walus. They were for real.

[My correction: This only applies to black S.Africans. White S.Africans are NOT racist towards Zimbabweans. I know many white people who employ Zimbabweans. Most whites here sympathise with the Zimbabweans and the terrible state of Zimbabwe. Its blacks who don’t like the Zimbabweans here. BUT… the Black S.Africans should go and have some words with their President Mbeki and ask him why he supports Robert Mugabe’s genocide against blacks in Zimbabwe. Jan]

South Africans should be sensitive to the plight of Zimbabweans and not treat them like a bunch of crooks, church leader Bishop Paul Verryn has warned.

Speaking in a panel discussion on Zimbabwe organised by the South African National Editors Forum (Sanef), Verryn said the attitude by the country’s citizens showed scant regard for the daily suffering of Zimbabweans in their country, which had led most of them to flee to neighbouring countries including South Africa.

“Remarks to the effect that Zimbabweans are opportunists who are here to steal jobs are far from the truth; most of the people come here out of sheer desperation,” said Verryn.

“South Africans are becoming accomplished racists in the way they treat (Zimbabwean) refugees; this is the time when they should be showing solidarity,” said the bishop.

He warned the South African government against granting credibility to President Robert Mugabe ahead of next year’s elections.

The current ill-treatment of opposition leaders and other activists was part of a campaign that would render the poll a sham.

“If pressure is not put on now for involvement of the opposition and civil society in talks with the ruling party, the result is going to be the same as in the last two elections, therefore we must not be co-opted into giving credibility to a farce election.”
