[Today is a public holiday – and it is on 21st March, the anniversary of the Sharpeville massacre, which is the worst atrocity attributed to Apartheid. On that day, according to the enemies of Apartheid, 69 people were shot dead.
In the grand scheme of things, Sharpeville is really minor. Historically, it is a joke – even in recent history. How many people have Mugabe killed? Wait… 69 is nothing. Robert Mugabe has killed more than that already – and in a “single sitting” he will yet surpass that figure. Its coming.
In African history we have Idi Amin who killed millions of blacks. Right now in the Sudan, Arabs are slaughtering blacks and officially the number is round about 200,000 dead – but don’t be surprised if the actual number is even higher.
I went into the AfricanCrisis archive to pull out some old articles I wrote, some with photos which will remind Readers about the truth – about what really did happen at Sharpeville and how in recent years in the former Soviet Union they killed 10 times that number of people and nobody in the world said a thing about it.
Sharpeville is a stick they like to beat whites with – but its complete rubbish. The ANC murdered hundreds of blacks by the necklace method (not to mention the many thousands who were shot in the ANC’s Civil War against the Zulus) – and nobody puts the ANC up in front of the TRC to account for these hideous acts.
Sharpeville like so many other sticks they like to beat us with is just a propaganda game. The radical PAC was behind Sharpeville – they were hoping to create an incident and they were successful. The PAC wanted to have blacks gunned down for use as a propaganda weapon – and they got what they wanted. That’s the long and the short of it. That’s life. Its an old trick that many have tried.
