I was definitely WRONG about the Boeremag and Janusz Walus. They were for real.

[Are they gunning for Zuma again? Jan]
KwaZulu-Natal Judge President Vuka Tshabalala has confirmed that because of fears for his safety, security around him was increased after incidents when his entourage was followed by a mystery BMW.
The Daily News can reveal that Erwin Ullbricht, a top associate of ANC deputy president Jacob Zuma, was questioned by the Scorpions in August last year in connection with an alleged plot to “assassinate” Tshabalala and for allegedly following the judge. Ullbricht drove a BMW 318i.
When contacted, Tshabalala said that he had received “intelligence” that he was being followed by a BMW. Tshabalala said the events took place before the start of the Zuma fraud and corruption trial in Pietermaritzburg last year and preceded his announcement of the name of the judge who was to preside over the Zuma case.
Tshabalala said he was never told anything by the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) about Ullbricht’s questioning nor did he know Ullbricht. The Zuma case was presided over by Judge Qedusizi Msimang, who eventually struck it off the roll.

Ullbricht reacted angrily on Monday when contacted by the Daily News and said his questioning by the NPA was an attempt to “tackle” people close to Zuma.
“I met the (two NPA investigators) with my lawyer and they said that they had received information from the director of special operations that there was a threat to (Tshabalala’s) life. They said that they believed that I had been following the judge and I was trying to assassinate him. I told them that the days of the justice system harassing the people without evidence were over.
“I have never followed the judge and I don’t even know where he stays. They’ve got to have proof of that. Nobody is going to question my relationship with Zuma, I’m proud of my association with him. They know my registration number so they are the ones who have been following me. Why are they following me?” he said.
Ullbricht, 31, is a businessman and has organised lavish parties for Zuma in the past.
The Daily News can confirm that Durban lawyer Keith Mothilal was also questioned by the NPA about the matter – Ullbricht had been driving Mothilal’s BMW 318i car when he allegedly followed Tshabalala.
Mothilal said that he had sold the car to Ullbricht and that he had nothing to do with the allegations.
Mothilal said he had not yet transferred the car’s ownership to Ullbricht because “he (Ullbricht) smashed it”.
Ullbricht is not new to controversy. The home of his father-in-law in Chatsworth was searched by the Scorpions – as they gathered evidence for the fraud and corruption case against Zuma – in August 2005.
NPA spokesperson Panyaza Lesufi could not be reached for comment at the time of going to print.
