World’s bravest or dumbest criminals?

WARNING: This is Version 1 of my old archive, so Photos will NOT work and many links will NOT work. But you can find articles by searching on the Titles. There is a lot of information in this archive. Use the SEARCH BAR at the top right. Prior to December 2012; I was a pro-Christian type of Conservative. I was unaware of the mass of Jewish lies in history, especially the lies regarding WW2 and Hitler. So in here you will find pro-Jewish and pro-Israel material. I was definitely WRONG about the Boeremag and Janusz Walus. They were for real.

Three robbers were due to appear in court on Tuesday for an alleged armed hijacking that could earn them the title of the world’s bravest – or dumbest – criminals.

They apparently tried to hijack a car in which sat a uniformed police officer, a uniformed metro police officer and two armed private investigators.

To make matters worse, the spot they picked was directly opposite a police station.

‘We were feeling relaxed and good about our day’s work’

And, as a final insult, it is believed that Thabiso Ntwagae, 27, Happy Tshabalala, 25, and Xolile Xongo, 27, had been released from prison just months beforehand.

One of the investigators caught up in the botched hijacking spoke to The Star on Monday and said he couldn’t believe no one was killed or injured during the December 29 attack.

During that night the four crime busters had followed up a tip-off in connection with a cash-in-transit robbery and arrested a suspect.

“We were feeling relaxed and good about our day’s work,” the investigator said. “We stopped at a petrol station for some pies and then headed back to the station (in Yeoville, Johannesburg).”

This was at about 2am and the streets were quiet, he said. All the men were armed and had bullet-proof jackets on. The Hyundai was fitted with dark windows, making it impossible to see inside it.

Suddenly, as the car was coming to a halt outside the building, four men jumped out into the road and surrounded the car. A robber at the driver’s side fired his revolver at the vehicle.

A police officer returned fire and the rest of his crew jumped out to help him.

The tables turned in a split second and the gangsters dropped their weapons and hit the ground. One managed to run away.

Asked whether they were happy that the suspects were back behind bars, the investigator said: “No two ways about it. I hope they get the sentences they deserve.”
