[Afrikaans] Another Suidlander/Uhuru Hoax panic in the making?

[I have received this from several sources. It seems suspiciously like the recent Suidlander/Uhuru Hoax panic we had some weeks ago. Basically it claims people must stay from highways in Johannesburg/Pretoria because on saturday they will be shot and that this relates to 1976 Soweto riots – and this will be “confirmed by the S.African Police”. There were even phone numbers attached to it, which I’ve removed. I’m not going to take this seriously. I am however putting it out so that if you get this chain email – please do NOT encourage the spread of it. It sounds to me as if these people are deliberately trying to provoke a panic again. I have heard that in the Northwest province on the N12 highway, near Wolmaransstad – blacks have been throwing stones at cars. That is the only firm report I have from someone truly reliable of anything that is different. Otherwise, I would not put any credence in this. Maybe… at best… watch out for people chucking stones.
