History: The Weapons and Battles of the Second Anglo-Boer War (1899-1902)

WARNING: This is Version 1 of my old archive, so Photos will NOT work and many links will NOT work. But you can find articles by searching on the Titles. There is a lot of information in this archive. Use the SEARCH BAR at the top right. Prior to December 2012; I was a pro-Christian type of Conservative. I was unaware of the mass of Jewish lies in history, especially the lies regarding WW2 and Hitler. So in here you will find pro-Jewish and pro-Israel material. I was definitely WRONG about the Boeremag and Janusz Walus. They were for real.

History: The Weapons and Battles of the Second Anglo-Boer War (1899-1902)

I spotted this lovely article complete with photos. I browsed it quickly. I see mention of General Christiaan De Wet, whom I admire along with General De La Rey.

De Wet was very unhappy when old General Joubert did not unleash his Boer cavalry on the 10,000 retreating British near Ladysmith. As always De Wet had very sound ideas.

But the best commanders on the Boer side were “made” during the war. The best men did not command at the outset. But men like De La Rey, De Wet, Smuts, etc proved their mettle during the war and went on to become legends.

Its a very nice article. The smokeless rifle… was the single weapon that transformed the Boer War and laid the groundwork for the World Wars to come. Jan.
