WARNING: This is Version 1 of my old archive, so Photos will NOT work and many links will NOT work. But you can find articles by searching on the Titles. There is a lot of information in this archive. Use the SEARCH BAR at the top right. Prior to December 2012; I was a pro-Christian type of Conservative. I was unaware of the mass of Jewish lies in history, especially the lies regarding WW2 and Hitler. So in here you will find pro-Jewish and pro-Israel material. I was definitely WRONG about the Boeremag and Janusz Walus. They were for real.

S.Africa: AgriSA slams farm-robbery stats

[This item is a few months old, but still very relevant. Jan]

Pretoria – Farm robbery figures released by police on Wednesday were shocking, said the commercial agricultural body, AgriSA, on Thursday.

“The high levels of robberies aimed at the farming community are shocking.

“This was confirmed by crime figures recently released by the South African Police Service, namely that robberies represent 90% of violent crime against the farming community,” said Kiewiet Ferreira, chairperson of AgriSA’s law and order committee.

Ferreira said it was disturbing to note the farming community remained a target for robberies, despite the important role the sector played in job creation, food production and foreign exchange earnings.

Statistics SA found agriculture had lost R1.1bn to robberies and burglaries, he said.

More visible policing welcomed

Agri SA said, however, it was grateful the downward trend in farm attacks and murders since 2002 had continued in the past year, although an increase in murders was recorded in Mpumalanga, Limpopo and the Northern Cape.

Ferreira welcomed the announcement by Safety and Security Minister Charles Nqakula that visible policing would be stepped up by deploying more members for sector policing.

“The deployment of this manpower and the effective implementation of sector policing will contribute towards combating crime in rural areas more effectively.”
