[I’ve heard of this before, but never seen a photo of it. This is one of those extremely weird things African tribes used to do, and clearly still do. Apparently this makes them beautiful – having this huge extended lip. I wonder how this woman can talk! Or maybe that’s the real purpose… now that she can’t talk, the men are happy! Does anyone know which tribe does this? I assume this is one of the tribes far to the north of us. Jan]
