I heard on the news last night that at least 2 more interest rate hikes are in the offing between this year and next February. I have been saying for some time that I think we are in for one interest rate hike after another (because of uncontrollable credit which created this fake boom). So keep watching your debt… I wonder if we will yet see homeloan interest rates of 20% in the coming years? I’ve paid those interest rates before… and that was when the credit expansion was a fraction of what it is now. I wonder if we’re not going from fake boom to REAL BUST? We’ll have to watch this one. They’re still talking about “the soft landing” and frankly… I take that with a ton of salt! Jan. |
