[Mark, If we could use normal proven Security/Military principles… I think Norman is right… the criminals would be running like the clappers… leaving long brown trails (of sh*t) behind them… they’d be so scared.

I’m all for spreading TERROR among the CRIMINAL class. Sheer… unadulterated TERROR! Then we private citizens can live in peace… while the criminals hide in the shadows in FEAR… Wouldn’t that be awesome? Jan]

I agree that Norman is without a doubt the bloke to back as leader in our fight against crime. Whilst I understand he is extremely busy, we need his regular internet presence. (Possibly via an assistant if he’s too busy)

As you know I’m contributing to the Succko guys’ blog and occasionally post on your readers’ posts; however if there’s anything that I can help with, sure, just tell us.

And yes, I agree – crime can be drastically reduced with organised civilian intervention, nationwide.

But it will have to be planned and organised with military precision. We will need to persuade responsible citizens, black, white, everyone – to head up branches nationwide. Like a civilian ‘police’ structure. It would have to be done via a nationwide security network. Implemented in phases, off a main ‘blue-print’ plan.

As an ex-cop (from way back), I know there are thousands and thousands of South Africans who will get involved and play their part. But we need a chief like Norman who can liaise with Police and Government and feed orders out to the branches.

Then we’ll see crime drop.
