S.Africa: It’s not fear that makes people support the DA

WARNING: This is Version 1 of my old archive, so Photos will NOT work and many links will NOT work. But you can find articles by searching on the Titles. There is a lot of information in this archive. Use the SEARCH BAR at the top right. Prior to December 2012; I was a pro-Christian type of Conservative. I was unaware of the mass of Jewish lies in history, especially the lies regarding WW2 and Hitler. So in here you will find pro-Jewish and pro-Israel material. I was definitely WRONG about the Boeremag and Janusz Walus. They were for real.

S.Africa: It™s not fear that makes people support the DA

Two articles in the Sunday Times of November 19 tarnish its reputation for excellent journalism.

The first, by editor Mondli Makhanya, œNo sense in embracing old racists while alienating (152)˜normal™ whites asks why the ANC embraces hardcore ex-Nats while excoriating the largely liberal whites who support the DA.

But he undermines his own position by suggesting that the tens of thousands of DA-supporting whites (and many thousands of others with skin colours of a different hue) do so because of their œfears and uncertainties. And then further kowtows to Big Brother by claiming that the DA suffers from œideas bankruptcy. Neither assertion is correct.

The more pertinent question to ask is, how long will it take for ANC supporters to pluck up the courage to cut the psychological umbilical cord binding them to the ruling party? Only when that occurs will we have a more effective political process.

The second piece is a rant by Khadija Magardie regarding the alleged lack of teeth in Israeli Defence Force inquiries into the misconduct of its armed forces, œIsrael™s inquiries just for show.

The irony of the accusation appears to escape your columnist entirely. When have we ever heard of an equivalent activity on the other side? But, more importantly, Magardie should ask why, after Israel has vacated Gaza, the Palestinians there persist in arms smuggling, rocket attacks and suicide bombings .

Magardie should ask why the Israelis (and most other peoples) do not dance in the streets at the news of the death of their enemies, do not publicly behead them and distribute the videos around the world.

Magardie could profitably consider the culture which has bred the kind of murderous intolerance that blights the lives of tens of millions of Muslims and threatens the rest of the world. ” Mike Berger, Simonstown
