First, black countries became poor despite their resources and minerals; why? because Europeans couldn’t and can’t stop interferring in Africa’s affairs, stealing their lands, production and labour. Now, wherever there’s poverty, there’s ignorance, conflict and struggle for living. who’s the only one who gets benefit? Europeans. Not just that, you open your doors to African people who are well-educated and can add value to your countries accepting some refugees which you get fund from the UN for them, and speak about Democracy and anti-racism, and the European civilisation and well intention.

You’re talking about black people killing each other; well, it’s true and it happend, and still happening, but what about the millions of people who were stolen to be sold as slaves? what about the millions of people who died from disease, hunger and thirst under the forced-labour; from digging the Canal Suez in Egypt, down to establishing railways in Southern Africa?

You said you would like to hear from us, and I CAN ARRANGE FOR THAT! I am forwarding your message on to Jan who can comment better than I for I live in the States. I want your comment to come from one who has and is continuing to live out this nightmare. I have visited Namibia and South Africa, so I do have some first hand experience, but a visit of a month is not the same as day to day life.
Thank you for writing and thanks for sharing your “impression” on history. I would be interested to know what books you have read on the subject.

You seem to have a very narrow understanding of history. Countries have been meddling in each other’s affairs for thousands of years. Asians meddled in the Middle East and even conquered into Europe. Europeans conquered into Asia.

Even blacks conquered others. Blacks murdered the Bushmen (San people) and drove them down the length of the continent of Africa.

This is normal. This is life.

But you forget that when Whites Colonised Africa that life in Africa was far better than it is now. Colonialism was the best thing that ever happened to Africa. Colonialism raised Africa to levels it could not achieve by itself. With the withdrawal and demise of white colonials Africa is falling back down into the mess it was before.

The problems of Africa are human. You have a race of people who cannot compete effectively in the world or even look properly after themselves. Now they are returning to their tribal state that they were in before we came.

This was predicted by white people in Africa 50 and 60 years ago when this whole decolonisation madness started. Colonialism brought a Golden Age to Africa. It brought the greatest development the black Africans have ever known. This has never been matched since – not even with untold billions in UN AID.

To us in Africa, what is happening is natural. We saw the collapse coming. We did not want it to be this way, but everyone called us racists and liars. But we were proven right and will be proven right even more.

Some people can’t handle the truth. You may be one of them. I’m sorry, I can only tell you what happened. If you can’t handle that, then that’s your problem.
