there is a guy I know who started a small website called the “White Economic Alliance”. The problem with many websites is that they need to be DRIVEN. I have learned that with AfricanCrisis. I saw that for years not much happened and that I needed to work harder at it.

The CrimeExpo website seems to work well on this “community driven” concept mainly because crime is a huge issue for people – life and death actually. So then people will take an interest.

I think many ideas could work. (I’d skip out the “Managing Black workers” thread!). I think your idea could have merit, but I doubt it will run by itself. With websites and blogs I find the owners need to sit back and think up solutions. You need to be the guiding light. I think Neil Watson’s situation with CrimeExpo is not the norm. He’s found something that is CRUCIAL to many people. But for most other things, one needs a plan of action and one needs to drive it – and it is a lot of work.

Perhaps… one way for you is to create a blog where you can perhaps invite people to brainstorm ideas.

This whole “White Economics” thing IS doable… but we need to get to the point where several of us have small businesses running which we can advertise and interact with and START OFFERING ECONOMIC INCENTIVES. I do think it will become a workable idea, but I do think it may take a few more years… I think give it another 3-5 years before it starts happening. But perhaps… someone is a genius and can think up a plan that could work.

So I think yes, it has potential, but it will take time and require hard work. Once it gets going though… I think it will ROCK. I think it is very doable as more and more whites start running their own little sideline businesses. I expect it could become an “informal growth area”.

I even thought at one time that we need to devise a business structure that is so cunning that normal legal/taxation methods can’t hamper its ability to function. In my mind, I have this concept of a NEW TYPE OF BUSINESS that uses technology and works in a way that is vastly different to traditional businesses. I have some vague ideas – but they’re only doable when my site, and other similar sites have volumes.

My next attempt to start such a thing will be the “Straight Talk Affiliate Scheme” which I will announce shortly and make available to anyone with a blog or website. I think… as all of us work together, eventually we will get the numbers to start making things happen. Once we do… we’ll be flying… then great things will happen. But there is a lot more hard work and pioneering which needs to be done. Jan]

Lately I have been an avid reader of your site and I congratulate you on it. I have been thinking lately about something and I would like your thoughts on it as I think it links up and strengthens the work that you are doing.

I am thinking of setting up something (a website at first) called “The White Economic Forum”. I want it it to be a mainly educational resource for all white people in South Africa. Some of the articles I can think of are:-

“How to open up a foreign bank account”
“Managing black workers”
“Dealing with racism in the workplace”
“emigrating to various countries”
“Career strategies for school leavers”
“overview of current racially based laws”

You get the idea – very factual and providing information specifically for white people. I do not know of the legality of this – are we allowed to have such an organisation at all? Also, do you think white people would care, would intelligent skilled people submit articles and interesting comments? My time input would be limited due to work, and I would want the site to be mostly community driven. My concern is that it would either degenerate with useless white power type of comments and swearing – or would just die due to lack of participation because whites are just to lazy to participate. What do you think?
