These pictures are quite amazing. The squalor in the townships is quite amazing. But these pictures are quite funny. Take a look at what one of the more innovative residents did. I will bet you that he actually makes some money out of this. He decided to create himself a “hotel”… and I wouldn’t be surprised if he actually makes some cash out of this. These photos were apparently taken in Alexandra township.

Here you can see the township hotel which is painted green. It probably only has two rooms. I doubt it was built according to “building regulations”.
