Al J Venter Noted S.African Military writer’s books on Third World Nuclear Weapons

Al J Venter Noted S.African Military writer’s books on Third World Nuclear Weapons

I had a fascinating chat with Al J. Venter whom I remember from the day I set foot in this country. Even then, Al was writing military books… and he seems to never stop. I think Al Venter must be the most prolific S.African military writer along with Peter Stiff as the most prolific Rhodesian military writer. Both of them churn out books at a shocking pace.

What delighted me was a query on my website which I think came from one of Al’s assistants who asked me for info on some posts on AfricanCrisis about nuclear developments in Libya and Nigeria. So I sent Al a list of articles from the site. We then ended up in a discussion. It seemed someone made the enquiry but its already too late because the book has already been written. The book is called: “Iran’s Nuclear Option”.

But he tells me that the book (450 pp) contains info about the S.African nuclear program – stacks of hot info about it!! So… it sounds like a really hot read.

Al tells me he is working on a hot FOLLOW-UP book… ssshhhh… So I’ve asked him to keep me abreast. Al is currently based in the UK. (All our brainpower have left…!!!)

It was really nice making contact with someone so knowledgeable in this sphere and him taking note of AfricanCrisis. I was delighted! Jan
