Jan] Looks like the Ethiopians are operating against those Islamist radicals: MH, USA Ethiopia says “few hundred” military in Somalia ADDIS ABABA, Oct 24 (Reuters) – Ethiopia has sent a “few hundred” armed military trainers into Somalia to back the interim government against Islamists, Prime Minister Meles Zenawi said on Tuesday in his first comments on numbers. “They are providing elementary military training to the Somali security elements,” he told Reuters of the controversy over Ethiopians in Somalia. “Naturally, they are in a dangerous place so they have to be armed to protect themselves.
