Several weeks ago there was a very fierce gun battle in the centre of Johannesburg. It occurred one sunday.

Some criminals robbed a Pick ‘n Pay supermarket a few kilometres from where I live in the Western side of Johannesburg. They were then tracked back by the Police to a house in central Johannesburg. In all, the Police estimate there were 18 or more criminals. Subsequent reports seem to suppress the fact that the criminals were really Zimbabweans. There has been talk that they might even have had military training. There are some murky aspects to this story which shocked all of S.Africa.

In the ensuing gun battle, 8 of the criminals were shot dead. But the criminals, all armed with AK47s ambushed the first four Police who entered the house and they shot them dead. This completely shocked S.Africa.

Two of the Police who were shot dead were white. Here we see some very sad photos. This little boy’s father was one of the Policemen shot dead. Heart-rending stuff.

This is the house where the gunfight took place. It was completely surrounded by Police. Then the four Policemen tried to storm in. Apparently the Zimbabweans were inside waiting to ambush them. And the ambush worked well. Some were under beds and furniture, but most interestingly, some were even up in the ceiling! They gunned the South African Police down.

Oh my, our Deputy Minister of Safety and Security, Susan Shabangu, is crying! Sniff! Sob! Actually, this is totally meaningless. I have seen Government Ministers attending funerals of crime victims and they also cry – they cry those BIG FAKE CROCODILE TEARS IN FRONT OF THE CAMERAS AND THEN THEY WALK AWAY AND DO ABSOLUTELY BUGGER ALL AFTERWARDS. The ANC is all about perception, and how the media portrays them. Beyond that, they are complete fakes. After these emotional ceremonies, many tears, etc – they do bugger all and crime just gets worse. This particular shoot out created tremendous rage. There were promises that within 6 months something would be done or people in Govt would be fired! Ho hum!! YAWN! Like I say, even when the ANC rushes around in a panic, they still do NOTHING! There is a bigger chance of me believing in the tooth fairy.

These are the Policemen who were shot dead. I feel sorry for them and their families. They gave their lives for a worthless Government who sabotages the very work they do!
