[I received these excellent comments from an Asian (Indian) South African. Sadly, he did not leave his email address because I wanted to thank him personally.

I have said many times, and this has been pointed out irrevocably in the USA that Asian people, like Whites, are go-getters.

What the Asian below is saying is 100% true. Asians were also treated as second rate by Apartheid (something which I am not comfortable with because I feel Asians are an asset to society whereever they go). Yet, Asians made money, educated themselves, etc. In fact I have heard the complaint that some Asians say that they made more money under Apartheid than now.

He points out too that blacks are basically destructive. While the Asians, were hobbled by the same things, they did not run amuck burning down schools, etc. And I will add to that, that Asians also do not engage in violent crime. Violent, hideous crime, is an almost exclusively black activity.

Now interestingly, even though the ANC has courted Asians to a degree, deep down, blacks and Asians have some serious levels of strife in S.Africa which is similar to the USA. In the USA, blacks and Asians also don’t get along. I will also remind people of studies which show that in the USA, Asian immigrants, arriving with nothing, get on their feet faster than African Americans who have been there all along and this is a source of jealousy. So I think a similar jealousy also exists in S.Africa.

I did mention the time when the Zulus wanted to murder all the Indians in Durban, and the Apartheid Govt stepped in, shot the Zulus and prevented massive genocide through quick thinking and quick action.

But let me tell you all another instance of Black/Indian stress. In the Organise Free State province, the Apartheid Govt made a law preventing Indians (Asians) from living there. It was illegal for any Indian to be in the OFS after sunset. Why this bizarre law? Well, this was a law the whites enacted because of stresses between the blacks living in the OFS and the Indians. So this Apartheid law was enacted just to make the blacks happy! Yeah, the whites had to kick the Indians out in order to keep the blacks in that province happy. It was a law that existed there for decades.

S.Africa is a complicated country, and people in the rest of the world know so little of what went on here. As a Rhodesian, I’d like to add a little additional commentary about Black S.Africans from the perspective of an outsider and that is, that they are probably the most vocal whiners of all the blacks in Africa. I think there are many blacks in Africa who lived through harsher times than them, but if you believe their propaganda you’ll think they had it the hardest of the lot – and that, folks, is one of the most blatant lies ever told in this world. Herewith, some interesting comments from an Asian S.African who points out what a bunch of whining babies black S.Africans are, who always want to blame someone else for their problems:-

As an Asian South African of Indian origin, it peeves me to constantly hear blacks blaming the past education system for everything from aids to cholera. Let us remember that other ethnic groups, including chinese and indian kids, instead of thrashing their schools, buckled down and went on to learn, to study and to use the “situation” producing some of the finest academics in this country.

Fact: Some of the top medical doctors, specialists, advocates and engineers are asians who were also “suffering under apartheid”.

Why then are the blacks the only ones who refuse to take any responsibility for themselves? Why then do they blame everyone and everything from colonialism to apartheid to indian collaboration, etc, etc, ad nauseaum? Perhaps the intellectually weakest are the first to lash out!
