Oprah Winfrey, racist diva of double standards

The Goddess of the Utterly Brainless jetted into South Africa last week to promote her new exclusive all-black school. Her Airheaded Eminence invested R 175 Million (about US$ 30 Million) in her latest charity and spent the week interviewing the (black girls only) candidates queuing up to join Winfrey™s new Soweto-based school.

Ms Winfrey openly and shamelessly admitted that her new school was not only racist, but also sexist. Which is good and fine “ it is Winfrey™s own money and she is entirely free to spend it as she sees fit. If Winfrey as a black person chooses to œexclusively advance her own race and sex, not a peep or murmur is to be heard from the usual trendy bleating liberals. But woe betides any white, male philanthropist who foolishly dares to promote HIS race or sex to the exclusion of others.

To illustrate this sickeningly brazen hypocrisy, consider this:

The will & testament of Dr Edmund Scarbrow, who died in the 1920™s, set up a bursary for UCT (University of Cape Town) graduates to further overseas studies, included the proviso that his bursary can only be granted to White male students of the Christian persuasion. The bursary created an unprecedented furore when advertised in March 2002 with the stated requirement open only to œstudents or alumni “who, in terms of the will of the deceased… are required to be matriculants, of European descent, male and gentile with limited or no means”

The ruling racist regime immediately hijacked the issue, with none less a luminary than the (ethnic Indian) minister of education Kader Asmal launching an expensive High Court application to have the offending conditions deleted. The Cape High Court subsequently ruled that the terms were indeed discriminatory on the basis of race, gender and religion, and ordered it null and void.

It was noted by an executive of the bursary fund™s trustee (Board Of Executors Trust Limited) that the company manages several bursary funds that are limited either to Jewish people, or exclusively for the benefit of people of colour and/or women only. Incredibly, the minister was quite unconcerned about these bursaries, and they have been left intact with all attached racist, sexist requirements.

In his High Court application, the racist minister of education argued that Dr Scarbrow™s conditions were unconstitutional and not in the public interest. He further added that such provisions could have major implications for the right of individuals to create bursaries exclusively for particular racial or ethnic groups.

So there you have it “ you are free to create bursary trusts or schools designed exclusively for the benefit of blacks, women, and even Jews, it seems. No problemo. But don™t you dare show your solidarity for that genuinely endangered creature, the Heterosexual White Male. Does anybody care to take on Oprah? It will be really easy “ simply get hold of the (former) minister of education™s High Court application, and 1) replace Scarbrow™s name with Oprah Winfrey. Add to that the relevant sections of The World™s Greatest & freest Constitution (South Africa supposedly) and in your submission, cite the precedent-setting ruling of the Cape High Court as delivered in March 2006, et voila! You™ve won your caseor have you?
