[16th August is the birthday of AfricanCrisis.

The forerunner to AfricanCrisis was a little website called “Issues”. Myself and a guy named Conrad started it in about March 2000. Conrad created the little website and registered it in one day, in order to put up the first photos of white farmers in Zimbabwe who were beaten and bloodied. He phoned me and suggested the idea. I came up with the name and he started it. He did the programming and I started writing most of the articles.

The website only ran for about 3 months, before Conrad and I had a bitter fall-out over a pyramid scheme. He and his wife supported a pyramid scheme which I felt was conning people out of their money and which I was exposing in our various news reports. His wife objected to it. His wife was actually the wedge which drove us apart because he and I normally had no differences. He also hosted my site, and after our fall-out I lost my website. By the time the website died, we were getting about 2,000 visitors a month, which delighted us!!

So I was without a website for over a year. During that time, I started writing Government by Deception. When I finished Government by Deception, I created AfricanCrisis, within about a week of intense hard work, in time for me to appear on the Jeff Rense show. Jeff Rense as always was not afraid to give me opportunities and to fly in the face of convention.

So AfricanCrisis saw the light of day on 16th August, 2001 – just days before 9/11!

I did not have proper statistics in the detailed form I have them now. But an analysis exercise I did do, on some statistics which I kept in my databases, going back to 2001, shows that for the first 2 1/2 years of AfricanCrisis’s existence, the website’s growth rate and interest was flat. I had ups and downs, but did not achieve much. Most people wanted nothing to do with me, and I suffered lots of attacks – most of them virulent ones from whites in South Africa!

But about 2 1/2 years ago, things changed a lot. I’m not exactly sure why, but the current growth of AfricanCrisis started about 2 1/2 years ago. Part of it may be due to new things I introduced, but I think the main reason has to do with a change in the mindset of whites in S.Africa because attacks came down, and attitudes changed. In my statistics I could see that whereas previously, people just came, took one look and left, they now began sticking around and reading the material

Since then, the annual growth, at its SLOWEST, was in the order of 30%. But in recent times, this has increased rapidly. 2006 will be the first year where the growth rate of the website, in terms of traffic exceeds 100%. In fact, it looks as if the actual growth rate for the website this year will be a minimum of 150%.

Over the years, I have conducted a lot of experiments, and I have built up statistics of a kind I am sure nobody else has. I have run experiments for months at a time, and sat and analysed the results of my actions and strategies. Bit by bit, after the last 3 years of detailed experimentation, I’m starting to see some interesting things, which I will capitalise on in the future.

I think the recent explosion of similar types of websites, also shows that finally, after years of struggle by various “pioneering sites” – others which came even before mine – like: Southern Cross Africa; Tales of the Rainbow Nation and CensorBugBear – and a few others – that finally, between us, we’ve helped to lay the groundwork for a change in the mindset of people. Finally, white people, whose future we cared about, are starting, in DROVES to realise the truth.

Of all the sites which died, the one I personally loved the most, and thought was brilliant was the highly satirical “Tales of the Rainbow Nation”. It was in a class of its own. If I can ever find anyone talented enough to engage in political satire… I would love to add that to AfricanCrisis. The person who created it was anonymous. He was an Afrikaner, but he never disclosed his real name. He called himself “Rainbow man”. I loved his work!

I think it can be said with confidence, that after years of struggle, that finally, in the face of fierce attack, the “Alternative South African Mass Media” has finally dawned.

In America, pioneers like WorldNetDaily, NewsMax, SierraTimes, DrudgeReport and others have created a massive, viable alternative news industry which is growing in leaps and bounds and which is becoming extremely powerful. It is squeezing the life out of the established Mass Media which was highly influenced by both Western and Communist Intelligence agencies and which was a vehicle for high-level propaganda. The Internet has now broken that monopoly, and after DECADES of twisted truth, people around the world are being exposed to the RAW TRUTH like never before!

Well, in S.Africa, the Mass Media, with Government and CIA assistance had a firm grip on this country’s media. No dissenting voices were allowed. When someone like Jani Allan once wrote an article on the MWEB news site questioning post-colonial Africa, MWEB just stopped sponsoring her website IMMEDIATELY and shut it down overnight. When she and I went on Cape Talk Radio and spoke about Zimbabwe, she was fired for being “too Right Wing” – even though the shows were hugely popular there, even in 2000.

Let me tell you, in 2000, when we went on the air, we saw how truly popular our political stance was. We even had coloureds, even Muslims phoning in and congratulating us on the shows! Before they canned her show, our shows were the most popular on Cape Talk. Prior to her firing and to various sabotage of her shows (a story that is unbelievable if I was not a part of it) – the two of us felt that if we could get some kind of national radio sponsorship, WE COULD SWEEP SOUTH AFRICA. I am sure Jani was fired because we had figured out the secret to mobilising people en masse in a way never done before.

The newer people on the site might not realise that I’ve done a lot of radio over the last 7 years. I’ve done interviews of up to 4 hours non-stop on American radio shows. The thing which has been a problem is getting air time and access to the airwaves. Not even Radio Pretoria dares air my views. But radio is a fantastic medium… and incredibly powerful. There exists a technology, which someone showed me, whereby, using the Internet, you can actually have a short-wave radio antenna in, say Indian, broadcasting FM QUALITY RADIO on SHORT WAVE – AROUND THE WORLD. Its real radio. It is a totally brand new technology. You control it over the internet, but the radio is broadcast WORLDWIDE. If we could ever get the money for such an operation, I know people who have the equipment to do it. There is nothing stopping us from creating our own worldwide Radio station. This should be something we should strive for in the long term. This will give us unparallelled power to connect not only S.Africans, Rhodesians and their ex-pats – but also to include people of a like mind across the world.

The days when MWEB, Cape Talk, 702 and others can blot out even famous journalists like Jani because of their fear of angering that lazy, corrupt, lying Government of ours in Pretoria, are drawing to a close.

The Mass Media can ignore us, and it suits me just fine. It means a bigger niche which only a handful of new websites will be able to occupy all by themselves. The Mass Media can keep on printing their Politically Correct lies… while losing market share. They need MONEY and PROFITS to operate on, whereas we don’t. So we’re really tougher and can handle opposition and take a beating that they can’t. Eventually, we’ll be able to take them on. CrimeExpo may be the first to really give them a rev – but many others are going to be following in CrimeExpo’s tracks.

The idiots who want to keep on trumpeting Government approved lies, can continue onwards because they’re backing a dying horse anyway. This Government is losing popularity fast, even among its own electorate, and the ANC structures and TriPartite Alliance are experiencing their first true internal divisions. There is talk of the “New ANC”… There are so many problems, and all indications are the problems are only getting worse.

The first truly big cracks in the economy are now starting to appear in the form of shocking inflation and shocking interest rate increases and there is every indication that these are going to be long term problems which WILL GET WORSE!

Last night in a discussion with one of the owners of “Why South Africa is Crap” Blogspot, he and I speculated that we may even be preparing the way for a bigger move by the Mass Media and perhaps even political parties like the DA, to move more to the RIGHT. In all my life, I have always watched the entire political spectrum moving to the LEFT. None of the Conservatives or Right Wingers have EVER been able to stop this. But in the last few years, things have changed so much in this world, and in this continent and country, that now, everywhere you look – its not Conservatives that are on the rise – but the RIGHT WING! The Extreme Right Wing, is rising ALL ACROSS THE WESTERN WORLD. Right Wing – extreme Right Wing – is growing at a Grass Roots level like crazy… Everything the Establishment rejected and tried to kill, is just rising up out of the grave and biting them on their bums on a scale that is shocking.

I have said that so-called “Racism” can’t be killed because it is based on reality and on real-life observations and conclusions. They can execute all the Right Wing whites in Africa tomorrow, and within a few years, droves of former Liberals will become the New “Racist” Right Wing. It is an unstoppable force because the blacks themselves are responsible for its creation through their lies and through their own actions. Blacks CREATE White Right Wingers. That’s how it works!!

I’ve mentioned before, raw web statistics. I don’t bother with that. But I do track everything that happens on my site, and then I get rid of all search engine and various webcrawler, indexing and other “robot activity”. So the raw web-statistics are about 50% higher than the human activity.

In August 2006, AfricanCrisis had 102,000 human visitors. This is the first time we’ve broken the 100,000 barrier. In this month, the 102,000 visitors read a total of 264,000 news and photo articles. The “raw” web statistics are about 50% higher than the numbers I’ve given.

Now, for the first time, I’m putting together a proper team of people to assist me. The next 2 targets we will chase are: 500,000 visitors per month and then finally 1 million. Getting to 500,000 is going to take a lot of work, especially since the website began breaking down due to volumes when it hit 70,000 per month. So the entire website needs rewriting and porting to a new platform (which has already started), which is going to be a lot of work.

Bit by bit, I’d like volunteers to come and give me a few minutes of their time and help us to post more news articles and to put more information out there. Our speciality is providing information (especially photos) which is normally suppressed or not readily available and I want to increase this type of activity including the creation and reproduction of entire books which have been suppressed.

My plan is that if we can move forward FAST, WITHOUT the Mass Media then we are not dependent on them in any way whatsoever. Later on if they mention us, it is only a bonus. But in this way we can preserve our INTEGRITY – we can say what we like, and we can stick to the blunt truth without having others impose “editorial control” over us. Ultimately, it is this independence and TRUE FREE SPEECH which will set us apart from most everyone else and allow us to PIONEER and to break through all the chains in the world which prevent true freedom of expression and also the FREEDOM TO TELL THE RAW TRUTH!! This will give us a freedom of action, of expression and also the ability to pioneer and drive through towards doing many things which currently are IMPOSSIBLE for most everyone else.

In the end, who knows what it might even do to our competitors… the ones who toe the Politically Correct line. I am wondering if they too wont start abandoning Political Correctness. Political Correctness is a beast which we must kill. It is a type of Intellectual Communism which prevents true freedom of THOUGHT.

AfricanCrisis has always been a pioneering, hard-hitting type of website that goes where nobody else goes. This means we’re on the bleeding edge at the frontline of the battle. We may never be popular, but we’re ploughing unploughed land. We may be opening up the path for others, and for much bigger things than ourselves. I hope people will support me in this endeavour. Let’s go where no-one has gone before, to explore, and to INVENT things which everyone else in politics says is DOWNRIGHT IMPOSSIBLE.
