[The following story outraged animal lovers and the SPCA. The story does not openly state who did this, but the dwellers on the Cape Flats are mostly coloureds or blacks. Animal cruelty in the townships of S. Africa is quite legendary. The dog was blinded and put down by the SPCA. Jan]
