[Finally, I am on ADSL… but you won’t believe the mission I had with Telkom. They sent a black guy to install it. He took quite a hell of a time to install, when he saw how my telephones and computers were hooked up. I had to help him think the process through. But the worst was when I had it and I wanted to get the ADSL account up and connected and wanted to connect to the internet. It took me about 2-3 hours on the phone to Telkom… about 10(43)+ calls… (along with calls to a friend of mine)… finally, at Telkom I phoned and an Afrikaans guy answered… I breathed a huge sigh of relief… and he helped me with EVERYTHING.
