[I listened to a most interesting discussion on a Black Talk Radio station this morning called Khaya FM.

The announcers asked about violent crime and I heard a number of black men calling in and expressing their views. All the blacks agreed, without question, that crime in this country is now really getting out of hand. Every person had a different idea. There was absolutely no consensus of opinion – which I found interesting.

We whites generally express the view: PUNISH THE BASTARDS. That is pretty much the overwhelming feeling amongst Whites here. Bring back the death penalty, stop prisons from being luxury hotels, etc. But among the blacks, they were all flying off at different angles about the causes, or how to combat it. But some of their comments were very interesting indeed.

Out of several callers, there were two who spoke about the problems of co-operating with the Police. One said the Police are too corrupt. Another said the Police are working hand in hand with the criminals. He said it was dangerous co-operating with the Police because they might be the very ones aiding the criminals! It was also said that “due to the past”, blacks did not have a culture of co-operating with the Police.

Then it was said too that blacks don’t care about crime until it hits them personally (this is very possibly true). Quite a bit was said about the fact that 3 of the 4 Policemen shot recently (by the Zimbabwean gang in the gunfight in central Johannesburg), were white (I thought only 2 of the 4 were white). So they claimed that because whites died, it gets more publicity. (The opposite is true when a white FARMER is murdered – then you get ZERO publicity!).

But, the three most interesting calls to my mind were these:-

1. One black man said the problem is punishment. The criminals are NOT being punished properly and that is why crime is so rampant. (I fully agree with him).

2. Another black man said that he has been in a number of neighbouring countries, and he named: Zimbabwe, Mozambique and Botswana. And he reckoned that crime in NEIGHBOURING STATES (INCLUDING ZIMBABWE) IS FAR LESS THAN IN SOUTH AFRICA!! He made that quite clear.

3. One black man, who sounded like a pretty thoughtful type, started by saying he wants to “prove” to people that the crime really comes from STASHED AWAY ANC WEAPONRY! He then said that people must remember that after 1994, that both the ANC’s Armed wing MK and APLA (the PAC’s armed wing) DID NOT HAND IN THEIR WEAPONRY. He said that people keep on focussing on AK47’s and claiming that they come INTO this country from neighbouring states, but the weapons ARE IN FACT ALREADY HERE! He reminded people about how many AK47’s are being used in crimes. He said that there is no need to presume the weapons are coming into the country… Nobody could counter his thoughtful and measured statements.

All the above is very interesting.

I have also wondered about so much of the talk in our media about weapons being “stolen” from private people, and also being smuggled into South Africa. But I have never really seen concrete facts on any of this, whereas his statements make a lot of sense. There could still be some weaponry coming into this country – I do not doubt that – but the majority of AK47’s have probably been here all along.

I also wondered about all the weapons the ANC had in the country in the past.

I have written posts in the past about the ANC’s “Secret Army” being CRIMINALS… who, by using crime, are actually PRACTISING GUERILLA ATTACKS on us whites… not only to drive people out now, but it can also be a form of “practical training” for a future race war. While we whites are just TALKING about fighting back one day, when things get totally out of hand… the blacks may already be secretly in “war mode”…

I must check up on that new Crime Website which was launched on 4th July (is that sheer coincidence?)… which was causing so much consternation … to see if it actually did come into being. The Government was not happy about a website which said it would expose South African crime to the world! Jan]
