I"m Curious: How much do Americans see of Iraqi violence?

[I often watch eTV news here in S.Africa, and on it, they often show quite a bit of footage of the violence in Iraq. I know Americans get lots of TV News, but I am curious just how much of it covers the violence inside Iraq. I see the violence there getting worse and worse… I did warn about this.
