This is a very good cartoon, and the characters and purpose of it need to be explained to people outside S.Africa. The two characters in it, who are sick and tired of rubber stamping the policy of the African National Congress, are two prominent communists. Take note of the hammer-and-sickle on the rubber stamp. In S.Africa the hammer-and-sickle still exists… The two prominent communists are: Jeremy Cronin a notorious white comunist who looks like he should be a school teacher. On his right is Dr Blade Nzimande, the current leader of the South African Communist party. For the historical record, it should be noted that in its 90(43)+ years of existence, the South African Communist Party was run most of the time (probably for about 75(43)+ years of its existence) by WHITE MEN!! When the South African Communist Party tried to take over South Africa during the 1922 white miners strike, it was using WHITE PEOPLE to fight the Government. It is only after it failed, using whites, to take over the country, that it changed its tactics and decided to create “Black Nationalist State” – on orders from Lenin in 1927. The South African Communist Party is dangerous. It is probably the only political party in this country which can take on the ANC. I mentioned this might happen, 5 years ago, when I wrote my book: Government by Deception.
