[I spotted this map inside a Jim Magee’s book, “Jerusalem Countdown”. This map, as I understand it, is the land which God promised the Jews. And as you can see, it is many times larger than Israel is currently. It seems to include, as best I can make out it covers: half of modern day Syria, much of Jordan, the northern portion of Saudi Arabia and the western half of Iraq. Almost half of modern day Iraq falls into that area. I had always been curious as to what land exactly, God had promised the Jews and this, as best I can make out is it! Jan]
